The more resistance you face, the more you know you are on the right track. What is said about you by others is simply noise- loud banging vying for your attention. That's where the enemy tries to confuse you and desperately pull your attention. Keep at it. You're doing great. You are a blessing just as you are. Also, being a natural-born leader almost instantly qualifies you as being disliked. One minute the people were yelling Hossanah, and then the next they were yelling "crucify Him". It's all noise. The devil is a loser.

It's so refreshing to hear someone say, "I got this response I didn't love, but I actually paused and thought about it..." instead of being defensive and having a public pity party. I recently listened to a well-known conservative voice do that exactly. "Everyone is attacking me...everyone else is bad for not agreeing with me..." The thing is, she wasn't in the wrong at all in my opinion, so why give life to anyone that criticizes you? They're allowed their opinion, it doesn't make them right about you, nor bad for dissenting.
Same for you, Peta, why give life to anyone else's opinion? When you put yourself in the public sphere, you open yourself up for criticism and praise from total strangers. Neither should affect you. We are not of this world. Hold fast to God's will for you. Keep yourself surrounded by Godly women that know your heart, that give you grace, will tell you the truth, and also encourage you. Ignore strangers opinions of you (good or bad).
Make your words purposeful. Always pray before you speak. Let Him use you as a vessel (or megaphone). Ask Him to silence anything that is not Him. Keep being courageous.

Please continue to have opinions and express them cleanly and clearly. God-confidence always comes across as “condescending” to people who misunderstand who God really is. I have loved ( l o v e d ) watching your metamorphosis. I found you JUST before you ever breathed a word, and I somehow knew you were being drawn into the kingdom for such a time as this. I know that is weird but it is also the simple truth. And so I prayed for you once or twice, and a couple months later, you said the first words about the fact that you were beginning to think very differently.
I am always encouraged for your generation by hearing you. If Jesus can do all this in you….🙌🏻🙌🏻
Also I love your comments because it helps me to speak up and clearly delineate where I stand on matters that truly count for the kingdom.
