Love thiiiiis. As someone who is both a Christian and a huge hippie I love to see the integration of stuff like this. It’s rare (but it affirms my sense of things too!). Thank you for being you and for sharing with us xx

What a wonderful sharing! Thank you, Peta! God has guided you by way of these alternative, shall I say, analytical systems of understanding health such to have you arrive at the spiritual one of forgiveness. I highly commend you for your perseverance in the process!

If I may add a small insight, it stuck me that you chose the healing of the paralytic as your first and foremost example. Why? Most other healings that Jesus performed in the Bible result in an action of initiation (even if only words) by the one afflicted. The woman reaching to touch his garment, the lepers walking closer to the road than was allowed and calling to him, the blind man calling and yelling out to jesus. etc. Bot there are only a few instances where the action of initiation was performed by someone *other* than the afflicted one, and "their faith" is the catalyst for the healing to occur. Why is this important?

Because the men who worked to lower the paralytic through the roof had not only faith, but demonstrated love/charity for their friend (or relative or neighbor as was the case). So in this case, and with Jairus' daughter, and the servant of the centurion, love was combined with faith to make the healing of forgiveness efficacious for the person who otherwise did not have access to Jesus.

Let me, again, commend you for your outstanding work and writig and encourage you on your further work in reclaiming human healing from the pharmaceutical merchants of chronic malaise and, now, the transhuminist wizards of nanobiotechnology who seek to become Gods over all humanity with their heinous techno-alchemy.

Yes, let us all keep working to claim and defend all the greatness, beauty, wonder, and goodness that God created in each one of us!

Peace & Blessings to you and yours.

✨️🕊🙏🎊✨️

Godspeed.

You may like to read It Is Finished by Nerida Walker. Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law — and sickness and disease are two consequences of the curse of the law. When I started to understand the implication of the finished work of the cross, forgiveness as you mentioned, my inheritance in Christ, etc. it changed SO MUCH, especially in the area of health and wellness. I think we so easily forget that we are first and foremost spirits!

I have listened to a lot of testimonies of healing and I have noticed that — at least often enough that I took mental note — the testimony includes having a revelation of God’s love for them before the physical healing comes. I think this is so powerful and interesting and amazing.

Wow!!! 🙌🤍 I was JUST telling a friend how the connection between GNM and the Bible was starting to unfold in front of me. I used the same example of forgiveness. Also, I have been thinking about how following His commandments would relieve and prevent so much dis•ease. Hatred, jealousy, greed, sexual purity. As a woman who didn’t find Christ or read the Word till the end of my 20’s, I look back and see how sexual purity and aiming to get married young would have saved me SO much pain and emotional conflict. I am now saved and happily married and working to FORGIVE and HEAL as we build our family. I have so much gratitude for your words! I feel solidified in the connection I was finding between GNM and the Bible! I hope this conversation can continue.

Loved this essay! I’m currently obsessed with books on the healing power of our subconscious mind which is said to be - surprise - gods consciousness & intelligence within our bodies. Even though my intuition tells me this is the truth, I often still find myself binge watching Dr. berg on YouTube, swept away in researching supplements and other bodily ,fixes’. So your essay just complemented all of these previous hunches and reassured me in the divinity of our health. ♥️

Mmmmm so good. Right on time for me as well. I LOVE hearing your reflections on the Bible, especially because I don’t open myself up to many peoples interpretations so it’s nice to have someone I can just read, soak in and enjoy

These two thing stood out to me. I loved this entry!! Thank you Peta!

-Obsessing over food is not meant to become life’s work.

-Your faith has made you well.

This verse came alive to me too though I’ve read it many times. What you believe does have an impact on our body, so true.

Soaking this allllll up!!! Yesyesyes!

I love how the paragraph of Matthew talks simultaneously also about all our fears of not having enough and not being able to generate enough money. We forget that we don’t have to do it alone and that if we would listen to HIS guidance (hint: JOY) it would be so much more easeful and aligned. Well, such a great reminder for myself!
