The quote at the beginning reminded me of my favorite one….Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter.
Whoa, I had the exact same prayer to God then I stumbled onto this by accident? By coincident? From the Lord wanting me to see this? I have been decluttering for half the year and I still feel overwhelmed by the amount of volume I am mentally and visually processing. I tried to explain this to my partner and he did not get it. Haha, thank you, cause now I can send him this!
I felt like you were writing this piece on my behalf. I loved reading this it really resonated to how I have been feeling about stuf in all areas of my life, thank you for the affirmation to just do it. Off I go to order a Skip.
Wow, this is so timely. I’m going through the same exact process. Always been a cyclical declutterer, but really wanting to go deeper for an even more peaceful home. So beautifully written Peta, and I can’t wait to read that book you referenced ❤️
Beautiful...so good. I've been feeling this in the past few weeks toooooooo!!! But haven't quite done what I'm craving in the home with all the STUFF! I do it every few months but how does all the stuff keep accumulating?
For some reason, my 12 year old son loves to display all his belongings on top of his tables and shelves, whereas I like everything AWAY, with clarity everywhere. He says that it makes him feel safe...?
I did though fully declutter my phone apps, reorganised them, put in larger widgets (like the mantra app) that change hourly, changed my ring tones, cleared all my digital stuff on old computers. Such an incredible feeling, you're absolutely right. xxx
Whew, this was so good to read! I love the heart in your words. And the prayers. Witty and inspiring and tangible. I’m needing to make some decisions and this was convicting. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Such a timely and beautifully expressed piece - thank you so much for this reminder and sharing your personal process with it. Your posts make me giggle and ponder :) I love the intentional donating - I'm going to try this!

Beautiful writing 🤍 Your prayer while walking - so real and relatable. The sweaty premenstrual pantry clean out - me every month.
Beautiful! Your prose is so elegant, and those quotes speak to my soul. Thank you.
You’re by far my favorite sub stacker. Thank you always. Your prayers sound just like my own. Talking to G-d like a friend ♥️
Amen!!
Inspired and inspiring - God bless 🕊️
