Welcome to the best selling Substack publication, Honeycomb…
(Formerly known as The PK Diaries).
The words in these pages are written to make you more free, more honest, more vital and more creatively on fire than what you thought was your peak— all while being a family centered mum (if you are one).
In these fresh pages and 200+ archive, you’ll find indulgently honest tales, memoir style from my late 30’s renaissance, and words that are too rogue for Instagram.
Please dig into the archive if you haven’t already!!
You’ll also find super direct pep talks to jolt you from stagnancy and into that honest thing you’ve been thinking about at 11pm each night.
I’m Aussie, so I write with a dry humour and directness that you’ll get used to.
I write to unburden you. I write to excite you.
I once built an 8 figure business in my early twenties, after deferring my phD. I’ve written 5 books, including my newest luxyury coffee table book titled Body Luxury. It’s a post-wellness obsession manifesto and trust me, I’m the gal to write it.
I’ve done the whole ‘Forbes’ thing, been a super raging lefty, been spiritually homeless. I’ve swung to the right, and labelled myself a conservative and then freed myself from all of the distracting, nonsense labels. I’ve wrestled with God out loud and in this new era of Honeycomb, I’ll share where I’m honestly at with my faith.
I write about the freedom beyond all labels, because we know, they all lose their stick when we become truly self governing.
I write as an over-achieving eldest daughter, trying to savour these golden days with my children. This is an ache I know many of us share.
I write about that creative tension of motherhood, and how to stay in integrity in a world that entices you to glue yourself to your phone and try to become a superstar.
I write about creative integrity, about peace in a performative world especially while our kids are little.
I write about true vitality in the wellness-girlie-era and a European wellness philosophy of croissants and care-freeness I call Body Luxury.
I write for the discerning woman (and a few men, including my husband who reads every.single.post), the one who knows nonsense when she smells it.
To be honest, I can never sum my work up on these descriptions. Have a read and enjoy.
“Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” Proverbs 16:24
