I’m writing this from up in the sky, super close to God ammiright? Pre kids I used to froth out on long haul trips because It’d be heaven— relax, watch something super dumb, write, eat slowwwwly, get a shitty magazine from an airport store… 

Now I travel on long hauls with a 2 and a 4 year old. My 4 year old takes the opportunity to watch a movie like ‘Frozen’ that she’d never normally watch at home (I feel Disney is incredibly brainwashing. More on that another time). But Pax still requires entertainment. He’s not a Frozen kinda guy. This trip, which is much shorter than our big ones, I packed a bag of little surprises, a few new books. Nup. Not interested. You know what NEVER fails me?
