I lit up when I saw the word 'fascia' in my inbox 😊 What you mentioned about differences in postural alignment between western and non-industrialised cultures reminded me of Esther Gokhale's research and postural principles. Thanks for the bowstring tip and resources - haven't come across it and keen to check it out! I've just started doing Human Garages 'fascia moves'. Going slow... The unwinding (on all levels of my being) is real!
So good! I haven’t heard of either. There’s a woman I remember doing a course with probably 9 years ago after my first birth who also said something similar re the posture and how cooked the info we’ve been taught about the pelvic floor is. I’m gonna try and find it. She was an older woman- very little social media presence.
Oh I’ve heard of bowspring but haven’t looked into it yet! I have a very exaggerated anterior pelvis that I’ve always been embarrassed about but that’s so true about African women. Maybe it’s time to embrace it!
I can go right there with the oldest daughter stories, but I am really finding like astrology, human design, etc that this also doesn't need to constrain my growth if you will...
